Motherwell 1991 Scottish Cup Winners Football Team Print

Taking place at Hampden Park on the 18th of May, the 1991 Scottish Cup final was contested between Motherwell & Dundee United, both making their sixth appearances. In an extraordinary match dubbed the "family final", as the manager of both clubs were brothers, Tommy McLean & Jim McLean, the scoreline was locked at 3-3 at full time thanks to a last minute Darren Jackson strike for United. However it was ultimately Tommy & his Motherwell side that took the honours with substitute Stevie Kirk providing the difference in extra time with a well taken goal, handing the Well the coveted trophy.
