It was a classic David vs Goliath tale as the Eagles soared into their first-ever Cup Final, where they faced the powerhouse Manchester Utd. The final was pure drama, a 3-3 showdown where Palace fought bravely, with Ian Wright coming off the bench to score twice. Though they fell short in the replay, Palace’s gritty and exhilarating cup run cemented their place in football folklore and left their fans beaming with pride.
