Laurie Sanchez, a cup winner with Wimbledon in the late eighties, masterminded an unlikely victory for Second Division Wycombe over their top flight opponents Leicester in 2001. Roy Essandoh, who'd only arrived on a trial at Wycombe the previous week after an online appeal, scored the winning goal in a fairytale 2-1 victory.
